A friendly local family in Belfast approached Urban Choice with images of an area outside their kitchen which had patio doors leading to an unused part of their garden.
Their desire was to have a usable space for seating and unwinding in an indoor/outdoors room which integrated well in with their home design yet still left adequate space for the children to play in the remainder of the garden.
They wanted this area to be able to enjoy the sun and also to give shelter on the rainy and cooler days of the year.
A Renson Camargue with the rotating bladed roof attached to the house above the new patio doors was the perfect solution. Extending the structure width wise across the back of the house made the best use of the space.
Careful measurements were taken at a site visit both for the passage height of the structure to work in with the existing patio door area and balcony above and also for the width and length of the structure to result in a family sized (6200mm x 3500mm) outdoor space while leaving their side entrances free.
At the front glass sliding doors opening from the middle worked really well to let light in and to give a fabulous view down the garden.
On the other two sides, remote controlled screens with “crystal” windows were added giving shelter all around and keeping the airy feel with lots of light getting in.
Warm white dimmable lights finished off the fabulous look of this Camargue especially seen in the night time images.
Matching the Camargue frame colour ( Ral 7016) with the new patio door colour allows the area to come together beautifully.
To furnish their Camargue the family purchased one of our Trimm seating sets with large poof/table and matching stools for the children.
