This Brief began with a phone call requesting a high quality pergola suitable for a stunning Villa in the South of France.

The client visited us at the Design Studio with his friend and was immediately won over by the quality of the RENSON product.

Within a week we had fulfilled a site visit at his villa in the South of France at a stunning location and considered his need for shade from the sun as well as shelter from the rain. Additional special adaptations were arranged to accommodate the overhang of the existing roof structure at the side of his villa where we were attaching the structure.

Detailed measurements of passage height, width and depth were needed to fix this structure against his villa wall allowing adequate space for the rotating blades and a further adaptation to remove two columns so the structure could be attached to the villa walls. A side infill of a remote controlled screen was added to protect from the late evening sunshine.

The client was delighted with the end result and this has now given him a fabulous extended outdoor area for entertaining.

His friend who was with him at his visit to our studio has now also installed a beautiful Camargue attached to his house in Scotland.
